A Kids Summer Camp on Orcas Island - Ages 2-10 years old

Summer 2025 - August 11th-15th

Monday-Friday - 8:30am-1:30pm

Saturday Family BBQ

This free-form and free-spirited gathering is inspired by the children and the abundant blackberries that fill the landscape every August here on Orcas Island. The week will be filled with crafts, snacks, songs, and stories while filling up our buckets with freshly picked blackberries. We will have a bright, kindhearted, and skilled staff of teachers on hand, with guest teachers popping in to share their wisdom and expertise. This is more than just a camp! It’s a summer Festival with activities and options for many differing interests and accommodations! It is a wonderful way to celebrate the warmth and harvest of the summer. Inspiring the little hearts, through play and craft, to reach for their joy and happiness while building friendships and memories.

We are serving children ages 3-10 years old from 8:30 am- 1:30 pm on a private property located on Turtleback Mountain. Children 2 years and younger are also welcomed at a discounted price if accompanied by their parents. Snacks will be provided, but a packed lunch is required.

This gathering will be filled with lots of goodies and takeaways! It is an old-fashioned, down-to-earth experience.

The cost for the week per person is $300. Day passes are also available at $75 per person. Children Under 2 years old and accompanied by an adult receive a discounted price and are discussed at sign-up. These funds help support the many amazing teachers on staff, the supplies needed for crafts and food made as well, and the land we all play upon.

The lead teachers are Tabitha Rose, Ashley Meyer, and Luna Suniga Kelly, with many other guest teachers popping in.

To sign up, please email our enrollment director, Jenn Moonbrick.

Last year was our first gathering, and by the children's request, we are bringing it back again this year! This year, we will add a family BBQ on Saturday so that we may all come together as a whole community, sharing time and stories over a tasty summer feast and a big blackberry pie.

Be sure to pack your kiddos bag with…

A packed lunch, water bottle, sunblock, sunhat, sturdy shoes and a change of cloths.
